Vikings were the giant and tough warriors which carried into battle a shield along with other weapons of choice. The shield was almost always carried in one hand and made of wood with each shield having some of it's own unique features and leather wrapped designs. This reproduction shield is handmade with solid hardwood and wrapped in very fine 100% genuine leather. Around the edge is a hand etched pattern and the shield also features brass ornaments all around it.
