Swedish folk costumes are originally the Swedish generic's historical dress that was worn and varied all year before the industrial revolution. Some Swedish costumes' details should be varied according to church festivals according to the district's costume calendar. After the peasant society began to wear folk costumes to a lesser extent, the dress from the late 1800s was recognized by the society and began to be used in festive contexts as a feast costume.
